She commented on the file being to cluttered. I realize that my file might be the most organized and that I need to learn a lot about graphic design. I have no idea how these things work so I just have to take her word for it. Or elseВ the printer or machine that's going to do the print on things (t-shirts, hats etc)В is going to detect that anomaly and refuse to print. She says that I need to clip mask to make the corners of the shadow disappear. It seems like there's no way of reverting back to the original document when I've entered the embedded document. Is it some sort of limitation when a file is imported like a embedded document inside of a document? I'll attach a screen cap of how it looks in the file that I did the first time. I didn't think much of it but when my brain made that connection I tried with copying all the objects into a new document instead it suddenly worked when it's imported into Illustrator. I double clicked it and then all the objects showed up as normal layers but it seemed like it opened this document inside of the original document if that makes any sense. When I imported the original logo from Illustrator into AD it showed up as a 'embedded document' inside AD. I don't really understand the concept of this and please do inform me how this works because it seems very strange to me. I'll attach a screen cap from AD where the arrow layer is showing!Д«UT: I solved it. The only thing I did was to do the outer shadow effect in the FX panel on the yellow arrow. Sorry for the delay! Got some sound design work that had to be done first рџ… It would help if we could see your expanded layer panel Was this created asВ a separate design, or part of the main logo. I take it that it is the white rectangle behind the shadow that is the problem, not the shadow itself. I don't know what information you need to answer this but please just let me know and I'll fill in the gaps.

But something happens when I saved the project in Affinity and try to export it again.Дoes anyone have any clue how to rectify this?

I first created the logo in Illustrator but switched to Affinity due to the price tag.

I asked my friend to open the file in Illustrator (He's a real graphic designer btw) but he got the same problem. They say that they cannot manipulate the shadow in any way and the white, blue and shadow is one file. The shadow is etched into that circle and does some sort of wierd render of the shape behind it. When the printing company opens the file the shadow looks like this. The thing that I can't seem to get right is when I'm exporting the finished product to be printed. I'm fairly new to graphic design and I've only done a couple of logos.

There are a whole bunch of ways to customize a shadow. This can be either suttle or substantial. In Adobe Illustrator you need to go to: Effect > Stylize > Drop Shadow. The purpose of adding a shadow is to make any element so it stands out from whatever is behind it.
